Just Messing Around...

Here is a rough piece I have been working on over the summer. It is purely for fun and a hobby of mine and is just getting started, so it is no where near finished. I used a combination of photos and videos that I took at home last summer in Santa Barbara, CA messing around with their presentation by playing with format, length, and order presented to create a visually appealing assortment that goes along with the story being told in the background. The story is all my own words from pieces I wrote for a Creative Writing class last spring. I love the effect of merging the two different art forms together and bringing to life something in my writing that is not shown simply by reading it or hearing it recited. I look forward to being able to continue working on this project in my spare time and making it more professional with the techniques I learn from this class!
